Our 7th grade science class will be set up to help all students be successful. I want this to be a great learning experience and I will do my part to make that happen. To help make a great year I want to make sure everyone understands we will be respectful of all people and property. Everyone will be respected and given the same opportunities for success. We will be respectful in words and in actions.
This is my third year of teaching, at Baker Prairie. I graduated from Concordia University’s MAT, Master of Arts in Teaching, in May of 2013. Before coming to Baker Prairie, I spent 2 years working as a substitute teacher in several districts, mostly in Middle School Science.
I enjoy reading, taking hikes, playing soccer, coaching soccer, and spending time with my wife and children. Before deciding to become a teacher, I worked as an Operations Analyst, an IT manager, an Operations manager, and several other positions. I decided to become a teacher because I enjoy training people, and working with kids. A couple years ago, I decided it was time I merged these two passions, teaching is the logical combination, and I have loved this decision.
