Body Toning Final Project

REQUIREMENTS:
Your group will create and teach an exercise routine.
It must have music and it must last at least 3:30
It must be appropriate for school, no explicit lyrics.
It must include a 2 minute “aerobic” section, that is, one that gets the heart rate up! The whole routine can be aerobic if you choose.
You may use exercise equipment, but you do not have to. You can use any of the styles of exercise that we have done in class (aerobics, yoga, step, zumba, weights, pilates, tae bo).
All members of the group must participate in the creation and execution of the assignment. Each member must take an equal turn leading part of the routine, and participate in all of the routine.
Each group must turn in a script of their routine showing each members section with all movements and cue words/counts listed.
The routine should flow smoothy from member to member. You should not stop to change leaders.

This assignment is worth 90 points.
60 points for individual score, 30 points for group score.
All groups need to be ready to teach their routine on finals day.

LEADER  POINTS:
Demonstrates all moves with enthusiasm 0-15
Matches the beat of the music 0-15
Counts or gives cues for the movements 0-15
Routine follows script 0-15
TOTAL POSSIBLE LEADER POINTS 60

GROUP POINTS:
3:30 or more total; 2 min. of aerobics 10 points
All participate during routine 10 points
Routine flows smoothly between leaders 10 points
TOTAL POSSIBLE GROUP POINTS 30
